AUCKLAND ORPHANS' CLUB.
GUESTS FROM WAIKATO. Tho fortnightly meeting of tho Auckland Orphans' Club, held in the Scots Hall, Symonds Street, on Saturday evening, was largely attended. The vice-pre-sident, Mr. J. Stanton, who presided, extended a cordial welcome to the representatives of the Cambridge and Morrinsvillo Orphans' Clubs, delegates to the conference of tho North Island Motor Union, tho chairman of the Auckland Harbour Board, Mr. M. 11. Wynyard, and officers of tho steamer Marama. Messrs. T. Hampshire (Cambridge) and Faulkner (Morrinsville) responded for their respective clubs and Mr. E. A. Batt for tho motorists.
