VICTORIA LEAGUE.
BRIDGE AFTERNOON. An cnjovablo bridi*o afternoon was hold in the Victoria Leaguo rooms yesterday by the ever-ready committee, the money obtained being used for the Leaguo stall at the Rev. Jasper Caldor's forthcoming "Bettortimcs" bazaar. The rooms wero charmingly arranged with vases of Iceland poppies, and graceful palms were also to bo seen in various corners of Iho room. Prizes wero presented at the conclusion of the afternoon, Mrs. Morrah winning the first prize, Miss Murray tho hidden number, and Mrs. Campbell tho consolation prizo. An\ong those who were present wero: — Miss Mowbray, Mrs. L. S. Rickcrby, Mrs. W. Johnstone, Mrs. W. M. Passmore, Miss Hyrie, Miss Oerrie, Mrs. E.
