BLOCKHOUSE BAY BUSES.
Sir, —During the running of the 0.0.C. service to Blockhouse Bay, the buses were crowded with passengers on Sundays and holidays during the summer season. But since the inauguration of the present service it is the exception to see even a co»n fortably-filled bus, and many trips aye run practically empty. All praise is clue to Mr. Munns for the stand he is taking to try and bring about a better state of transport facilities for tho western suburbs. On Sundays people living at, say, Mount Albert and Morningside, who wish to visit Blockhouse Bay, have no means of doing so by bus on that day, as the feeder service does not then run to Mount Albert.
