THE ARMS ACT.

Sir, —May I express my most hearty appreciation of the effort being put foiward to repeal the Arms Act. In my opinion the- Act, has done no good. The question is why have these weapons been allowed to lie in the possession of this class of person, or why not a more strict supervision . 1 hope in all sincerity that the time will shortly come when the householder can consider himself on an equal footing with the housebreaker. Colt.
