THE ARMS ACT.
Sir, —May I express my most hearty appreciation of the effort being put foiward to repeal the Arms Act. In my opinion the- Act, has done no good. One reads of cases of homicide and cases where firearms have been produced, possibly in the heat of the moment. The question is why have these weapons been allowed to lie in the possession of this class of person, or why not a more strict supervision . 1 hope in all sincerity that the time will shortly come when the householder can consider himself on an equal footing with the housebreaker. Colt.
