SCHOOL ENTERTAINMENT.
For some months past the teachers and children at the Otorohanga District High School have been preparing for the presentation of the operetta " My Spanish Sweetheart," the proceeds of which aro to go to the school improvement fund. The operetta was produced on Tuesday night to a large audience in the Town Hull, and was received with much appreciation. The children acquitted themselves well, and Iho dresses, Dutch, Spanish and English, were most artistically carried out. A number of tuneful choruses included " Tulip Chorus," " Jiminy." "Mv Spanish Sweetheart," " When It's Tulip Time by the Zuydor Zee." " Raggedy Ann and Raggedy Andy," and " Love's Serenade." The opera will be produced again tonight, for which a full house is again assured. The net proceeds are expected to reach between £4O and £SO.
