THE MAHENO The Union Company's intercolonial steamer Maheno reached Wellington from Sydney yesterday morning. Sho is to sail on her return trip to Sydney at noon on Friday. TIIE MAUI POMARE The Oovarnment motor-ship Maui Pomaro nailed for Apia and Nino Island yesterday afternoon to load fruits for Lyttelton, Wellington and Auckland. Tho Colonial Sugar Company's steamer Bona is duo from Suva at seven o'clock this morning. ULIMAROA AT SYDNEY. An arrival at Sydney at six o'clock yesterday morning was tho Huddart-Parker steamer Ulimaroa, from Auckland. Tho vessel is to sail on Friday, and is due at Wellington next Tuesday. Sho will bo the ouly Sydney passenger steamer arriving at or leaving New Zealand next week. RIMUTAKA EXPECTED. Tho New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Rimutaka. from London and Southampton, had not reported by wireless yesterday, but sho is due at any time now. Besides passengers and mail for New Zealand. the vessel has general merchandise for discharge at Auckland and Wellington. MAKURA SAILED. The Royal Mail liner Makura left Auckland for Sydney last night, and is due there on Saturday morning. Aftor discharge she will be withdrawn from the Pacific service and transferred to the intercolonial run in place of tho Marama, which is being laid up for overhaul. The steamer Ago. which 13 unloading a cargo of over 6000 tons of phosphates from Ocean Island at King's Wharf, will complete discharge this afternoon. She is to sail for Westport at four o'clock to replenish her bunkers before she returns to Ocean Island for another phosphate cargo. Messrs. Watkin and Wallis aro tho outward agents of tho vessel. THE MARAMA. A fine-weather trip from Sydney was experienced by tho Union Company's intercolonial steamer Marama, which reached Auckland .early yesterday morning. The vessel berthed at Central Wharf .to land passengers, mail and cargo. Included in the cargo were transhipments ex the following vessels:—Taiping, Changte, Mil) dura. Nieuw Zeeland, Caprera, Orungal, Corrimal, 'Momba, Moldavia, Mirrabooka, Koranui. Yarra, Oronsay, Period, Milora, Katoomba. Port Said Marti. After discharge the Marama is to be laid up at this port for two months' overhaul. She will resume on October 11. NORTHERN COMPANY'S VESSELS. Tho Northern Company advises that owing to the Apantti being engaged at the refloating of tho Paroto at White Island, her departure from Auckland for Great Barrier has been postponed until midnight tomorrow night. After being ba-bound nt Onehunga sinco Monday the Ngapuhi sailed for New Plymonth at mid-day yesterday. She is due back at Onehunga to-morrow morning and is to be despatched again for New Plymouth the same afternoon. Tho Hauturu is duo at Onehunga from Hokianga this morning and is to sail for Raglan. Kawhia and Waikato Heads at four o'clock this afternoon. The Arapawa is to leave Onehunga for Opunake and Wanganui at three o'clock this afternoon. Tho Pono's departure from Auckland for Waipu and way ports has been postponed until noon on Saturdav. instead of to-day.
