BUILDING AT HUNTLY

The' new Roman Catholic Presbytery in Huntly South was officially opened yesterday afternoon by Bishop Geary. There was a large attendance but owing fo tho inclemency of tho weather, tho usual proceedings wero curtailed. Tho bishop, accompanied by Father Curley, tho parish priest, and visiting priests, entered the now building, and after pronouncing it. formally opened, adjourned lo the old presbytery whore from the verandah he was welcomed by Iho parishioners, and several speeches wero made.
Tho'new structure, which is of brick, is beautifully finished, and is equipped in modern style. It is to replace the old wooden building which to bo removed, and in duo course the church will be moved up. This will enable tho school and convent grounds to bo considerably enlarged. Tho building has cost £IOBB.
