BRIDGE EVENING.

An enjoyable bridge evening was organised by 1 a committee of ladies of St. Michael's Church, Remuera, in the Moulin Rouge last evening. This constituted one of a series of bridge evenings, some of which have already been given, while others will follow weekly, the object being to augment tho church building fund. There was a large attendance of players, the comfortable lounge upstairs being well filled, and prizes were awarded to the winners. The ladies on the committee were:—Mrs. If. Wright, who wore navv blue georgette; Mrs. J. I']. Suteliffe, black ninon relieved with cyclamen; Miss Brown, mauve georgette; Mrs. Gearoy, navy beaded georgette and baud-painted shawl. Among the players were:—Mrs. Taylor. Mrs. Guthrie, Mrs. Worthington, Mrs. Sommerville, Mrs. John Fuller, Mrs. Hansen, Mrs. James, Mrs. Birkenhead, Mrs. W. Wright. Mrs. IJeddowos, Mrs. Irwin, Mrs. Garland, Mrs. Median, Mis. Xiven, Mrs, Frost, Mrs. W. Airey, Mrs. draco, Miss Williams, Miss Sims, Miss McDonald, Miss Margaret Wright, Miss Clements, Miss Moloney, Mis.s McCafferty, Miss Sinclair, Mis.s Anderson, Misses Brodie.
