SUCCESSFUL CARNIVAL.
HAMILTON WEST EFFORT.

A Queen Carnival, conducted by the Hamilton West Parents' Association to raise funds to improve tlio Hamilton West School, concluded last evening, when it was announced that £245 had been collected. The carnival commenced a fortnight ago. Each class elected a king and a queen from among its number. The king and queen of the infants' section, Bobbie Gtidex and Norcen Cullinane, will be. crowned on August 19. The amount collected will bo subsidised by the Education Board.
