MAORI WOMAN'S ADMISSION.
SEQUEL TO A QUARREL.

A Maori woman, Ane Tiapa, was committed for sentence when sho appeared at the Tokomaru Police Court to-day on a charge of arson. In a statement to the police she admitted having set fire to a house and shed belonging to a neighbouring native, with whom she had quarrelled.
