AUSTRALIAN TRADE.

INCREASE IN YEAR'S EXPORTS

SMALL FAVOURABLE BALANCE. That the margin of imports over exports of £4,731,900 in 1927-28 turned to an excess of exports of £1,152,142 this year is disclosed in tho return of Australian trade furnished by tho Commonwealth Statistician for the 12 months ended June 30. While imports showed a decrease of £4,316,937, exports were £1,567,105 above thoso of the previous year.
