HOW CAIRNS WAS KILLED.
INQUIRY INTO ACCIDENT
(Received August 2, 11.5 p.m.) MELBOURNE, Aug. 2
An inquest was held to-dav concerning the death of the jockey, 11. Cairns, who was killed on Saturday in the hurdles race at Mooticc Vallev.
Other jockeys said Corns' horso took off too far away from tho last Jiurdle and crashed into it. The coroner returned a verdict of accidental death.
