BUTTER PASTE.
'Take two-thirds meat or fish paste to cue-third butter. Put tho butter in a warm bowl and beat to a cream. Add •the pasto and beat all together until the mixture is soft. This work should b.i done near a firo. Season with a little pepper and salt if liked. This method saves much time when large quantities of sandwiches aro being made, as there is only one process required in [jutting on tho butter and tho paste.
