STOWAWAYS SENTENCED
FOUR MEN FROM DOMINION. IMPRISONMENT IN ENGLAND. Australian Press Aseocintion—United Service LONDON, July 31. Four men who stowed away on tho Matakana from Wellington, George Macdonald, of Glasgow; Robert McClement, from Belfast; Henry Meech, of no fixod abodo; and David William Smith, of Dunedin, wero each sentenced to imprisonment for one month at Woolwich. All tne men said thoy came to England because work was not available in New Zealand.
