A public meeting was held last svcnjnj>>for the purpose of appointing a board of "control for Tauranga Racecourse Domain. Ten nominations were received for the seven scats on the board, and the following were elected: —Messrs. H. A. Sharp, J. 0. Green, N T . J. Baigent, A. E. News ha in, It. T. Goulding. D. A. Ivory, J. M Darragh. The names of those elected will be submitted for the approved of the Minister. •
