P. V. Mason has made tentative arrangemen's to leave for Sydney with Honour by the Ulimaroa on August 23. It is practically certain the two-year-old Praise will also be taken.

Hoskiuc presiding. In moving tho adoption of the annual report and balance-sheet, tho president stated the racecourse had been the subject of much favourable comment. An extra permit had been granted to the c'ub this year, and there was a. recommendation that it fchould be made permanent. It waa becoming increasingly difficult to run a raco meeting and show a profit owing to the great number oi meetings beisur held. The report and balance-sheet were adopted.
