MANGAWARA RIVER BOARD.
PROPOSED NEW WORKS. [BV TELEGRAPH. —OV/S CORRESPONDENT.] HAMILTON. ThursdayFurther works estimated to cost £SOOO have been approved by the Mangawara River Board, with the obect of excavating canals and providing stop-banks along the course of the Mangawara River. A committee has been appointed to prepare plans and specifications ,to b« forwarded to the Public Works Department with a request for a Government grant.
