JUTE WORKERS IDLE.
UNREST AMONG INDIANS. WEEK OF 60 HOURS BEGUN. United Service. DELHI. July 31. Since the introduction of the 60-hour week in the jute mills on July 1 unrest among the mill workers has been slowly extending. There are now between 20,000 and 40,000 wflrkors idle. Picketing is carried on by vigorous organisers, who are aiming at a general strike on the lines of that in the cotton mills.
