Squadron-Leader Kinpsford Smith proposes to fly to Amsterdam in the Southern Cross on Friday next. A despatch from New York says the Wright Aeronautical Corporation announces tho receipt of messages from Kingsford Smith indicating that he and Flight-Lieutenant Ulm, not discouraged by recent failures of attempts to fly across the Atlantic, will probably endeavour to fly from London to New York shortly. The aviators have asked tho corporation if it deemed it advisable to fly to Now York and thence to Oakland, California, with tho same motors they wore using when they left Oakland for Sydney last year. The accomplishment of that feat, with the original equipment, would be a newexploit in the history of aviation;
