WOMAN STRUCK BY CAR.
LEG BROKEN BY IMPACT.
A taxicab descending Grafton Road late last evening struck a woman, breaking one of her legs. The injured pedestrian is believed to bo Miss D'Arcy Jones, of 88, Grafton Road. The driver of the taxi summoned the ambulance, and inquiry at the Auck-. land Hospital early this morning showed Miss Jones' condition to be not serious.
