The dramatic circle of the Pemromex/s League held their monthly meeting last ■n eek Mrs. Arthur Griffiths, convener, presided over an excellent attenoaocc, v.fcich included Dr. 'Mildred Staler, Mrs. Meikle, Mrs. -Ponder, Misses Bae Eotuancn, Quill, Burton, Sweet Dash, Sparling. ''The Bishop's Candlesticks," adapted fr:.m Victor Hugo's novel, was presented m a capable manner by Mrs. Meskle and Misses Sweet. Barton, Quill and Spuriing, after -which "The Little Man,"* fcv John Galsworthy, was read and discussed by the members. _The famous traced r and one-art play "Riders to the S.m." Ly J. M. Synge, will term the study for next month.
