King George spent the morning in the gardens of Buckingham Talace, enjoying (he bright sunshine. Ho gave an audience to Mr. Jack Hayes, Vicc-Chamber-lain of the Household, who handed to the King the Address from the Commons in reply to the Speech from the Throne. Mr. Kayos stayed for 20 minutes.

This was the first official visitor tho King has had since the journey to Sandringham was postponed.
