MAORI CARVINGS LOST. [flV TELKGUAPK. —PUKS3 ASSOCIATION.] CIIRI ST CHUR CH. Friday. A firo at Menzies Bay, Banks Peninsula, destroyed the homestead ot Mr. William Menzies. The dwelling was valued at over £4OOO, arul_ insured for half that amount. Some valuable Maori carvings were- lost.
