VEHICLE ROLLS DOWN BANK. FATAL END TO DEMONSTRATION. [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDSr.3 WANGANUI, Friday., An accident occurred on Turakina Hill, about 13 miles from Wanganui, this afternoon, resulting in the death at the Wanganui Hospital of Mr. David Adamson, aged 22. Demonstrations were being given with a road tractor and Mr. Adamson was in the driver's seat when the vehicle evidently passed over soft ground at the edge of the road, turned over, and rolled down the bank, crushing the unfortunate man beneath it.

Mr. Move, an uncle of the deceased, and others who witnessed the accident rendered assistance and the injured man was conveyed to Wanganui Hospital by car, but died shortly after admission.

Mr. Adamson was in the forefront of cycling in the Dominion. He was to have taken part in a race over tho Blueskin course to-morrow afternoon under the jurisdiction of the Wanganui Amateur Cycling Club.
