PATIENTS ESCAPE.
MENTAL HOSPITAL INMATES. EXITS MADE BY WINDOWS. TWO MEN AND A BOY. [by telegrap^.—own CORRESPONDENT.] DUNEDIN. Friday. The police have been advised from geacliff that three mental patients escaped from the institution at an early hour this morning. Apparently they climbed out of windows just before rising time when they were supposed to be getting ready to go down to the milking shed. One is a youth of about 19 and the others aro two men. The youngest of the trio is said to know Dunedin well and it is thought th.it they may make for the
city. The Seaclift Asylum is situated about 22 miles north of Dunedin.
