Mr. »• O'Sullivan gave satisfaction as referee, *1 his decisions being well received, ■The star bout, between T. Mullins (Taumarunui) and J. Shadbolt (Auckland), proved verv interesting, the men e venlv matched, and giving a good Display of ringcraft. Mullins, however, proved the better boxer, and won on Points after a hard fight of six rounds. Other results were:—D. Miller (Opobeat Bunn (Whakatane), T. Rua (•Opotiki) knocked out. J. Tepapa (WaioS. Goldsmith (Waioka) drew with »• Matchitt (Opotiki)., S. Wells (Whakatane) knocked out Ward (Gisborne) in the third round, G. Lvsaght (Opotiki) beat P.
