At a meeting of the management committee of the Morrinsville Rugby Union J'-< was decided to proceed with the Marsh ah' Cup senior competition games. The secretary was instructed to endeavour to arrange a representative match, to take place on July 20. A protest from The United Club against a decision given by the referee, Mr. N. Bodmin, in the United-Kereone juniormatch on June 30 was referred to a committee for the hearing of evidence. A committee, consisting of Messrs. C. Mclntyre, C. McDavitt and B. Chapman, "was set up to draft a reply to the protest by the Cambridge and Waipa Unions s t the Morrinsville Union's decision to play elimination games. It was decided to offer the Thames Union the following choice of referees for tte Peace Cup match on July 27: Messrs. Rabone (Hamilton) Hollis (Mata-ana?-a; and Chapman (Morrinsville).
