TWO BOYS INJURED.

ACCIDENT AT EXHIBITION.

STRUCK BY REVOLVING CAR

When one of the holding-bolts of one of the dummy motor-cars which revolve on the motor-wheel at tha Winter Exhibition broke yesterday, tho carriage flew out and struck two boys who were standing among the onlookers. Both were hurt, although not seriously. The boys were Ralph Lockie and N. Blott, and they reside in Queen Street, Northcote. Both suffered from shock and Lockie received painful injuries to the head. First-aid was given by the St. John Ambulance, and later tho boys were sent to their homes.

An inspection of the motor-wheel was made immediately after the accident by officials of the exhibition and it was not permitted to run again. Later it was examined by an inspector of machinery.
