Conditions were much improved at Trentham this morning, but si heavy fog prevented a number of early gallops from being timed. Tho grass track naturally was very heavy And the few horses .who worked lAn the sand registered much better I imes.

Roi Do Vat (S. lteid) and Historic were obscured by the fog. but sprinted homo in good style. Maori Hoy worked solidly over a, round.

Quantum sprinted four furlongs in IH 2-.is under a good pull. Royal Game went well over half a milo in 02Is.

Sudden Storm ran down half a milo in .'33, going attractively, Full Feather and Hurly Hurly, both with welter-weights, ran fivo furlongs in 1-8 -t-5. Full heather was going very comfortably on the outside and it was nn impressive effort. Tanagia was obscured by fog when sprinting half a mile. He finished well.

Taboo and Fairy Herald, ridden out, rail live furlongs m 1.9 *l-5. Gold Curo was hidden by tho fog. but did solid work and was finishing well nt the end of his task. Royal Elm (C. MeGovern) led Bouayron (Weaver) and Alaric (A. McDonald) over the five t-teeplechaso fences with tho pace on nil tho way. Tt was n good schooling gallop and all threo jumped well, especially Royal Elm. King's Guard did solid pace work.

Titiokoa ran half a mile in 535. Ifc jumped away ahead of Taku Tama and drew further away from him over the last furlong. Taku Tama ran his last threo furlongs in lis.

Mating:!, who looks well enough, strode over a rounrl of pace work. Beaumont was too good for Otiiuru Lass over four fll rlongs in 51s. Iligh -Society, who looks well, did solid pace work. Pari pleased by running four furlongs in 535, with Iniafeagirl about a length away. Lady Gny and General Wai were schooled over three hurdles, giving a satisfactory display. Bright Land was scratched for the Trent hum Hurdles at 11.15 o'clock to-day. Arihana and Solgele have been withdrawn from all engagements at tho meeting. Great Lady, Lucky Bag. Arrow/one and Lucro will represent G. W. Now at Trenthntii on Thursday, although owing to Lucro being slightly lanio after galloping this morning, tho latter is a doubtful starter.
