The weather now promises well for tliJ opening of the 'Wellington Steeplechase Meeting to-morrow, but the track will be ver.v heavy.

He should go very well with 11.7. King's Guard schooled well yesterday and both he and Kauri Park are expected to hold up tho honour of (ho north. Radiate looks a tit horse and may be prominent.

Mister Gamp will start a liot favourite for the Trcn.thani Hurdles. Comical has never worked better. Klysiunor. Overhaul. Aberfeldy and Prince Ln are going very well. Mister Gamp should run a good race. Overhaul should be in the picture. ['addon will now be run close by Gold Cure for favouritism for the Whyte Handicap. They look like monopolising the interest of the race unless Paddon goes amiss during tho running of the event. Fairy Herald, Vesperus, Bonrose, Taneriri arc also in demand, while Full Feather, because of nn outstanding gallop this morning, has also come into the market.

Maori Boy should play his part well in the concluding event. .Justify, another northerner, has been working well. Marjoram may run well. The tields for to-morrow arc:—
