It was decided to ask the Cook Hospital Hoard to take the Opotiki nurses for completion of their training.

The Director-General of Health wrote regarding the necessity for the proper storage of X-ray films, in view o[ the recent disaster at a hospital at Cleveland, Ohio, through the ignition of lilms. It was resolved that a special lead-lined receptacle be constructed for storing films. The chairman reported that a special shelter had been arranged for tuberculosis patients, but further additions were urgently required.
