The ,'i'e Auaniutu Young Mc-n's Instiluto held another very successful boxing tourniinent last evening. when then- was a. \cry largo audience. Toil bouts were staged chief of which was a challenge for the Muir Cup, in which Clarrie Craig (To Aw.uuutl), 9st 131 b, defended the title against C. MrKnight (Auckland), JOst, in six rounds. This was a really good contest. Another very bright display was that between 11. Bennelt (V.M.1.). tOst ylb, ami Huddon (Tautnarunm), Hj.it h. Bennett won. A heavy-weight contest between <• Kreur (Cambridge), I3st Blb, and S. Litt (Taupiri), l.'ist lib. four rounds, sav L-'re.ir boxing best. Krear won. Allan Crai,* (Y.M.1.), Oat 711). beat B Mutton (Prankton ), fist -141 b. in six rounds, after a bright display. Other bonis were:—W. Kyan (V.M.1.). 531 Oil), beat O.
