LAND SETTLEMENT.
Sir,—We hear and read a lot about land settlement, and what the Government intends to do. I think it is quite up to the present Government, and not before time, to extend to the South .African men the same privileges as extended to the men of the late war. They have done their bit, and through adverse circumstances somo have not dono too well and could very well do with a farm from tho Government. They would (lien bo off the labour market. Veteran.
