BIRKDALE BUS SERVICE.
Sir, —Somo time ago we. supported tho present bus company in its struggle for a licence, and hoped for great things in the way of service. Wo certainly secured an immediate increase in tho number of trips run, but things have since drifted back. The buses have gone from bad to worse, and with the new limo-table, wo at Beach Road have now approximately the same service as we had six years ago, and this in spite of tho fact that the population in tliis area has greatly increased. JIA STAG.
