ESCAPE FROM CUSTODY.
CHARGE AGAINST BOOTMAKER
[BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WAIHI, Tuesday.
A charge of being an incorrigiblo rogue, in that he escaped from his placo of confinement at Wftihi on July 3, was preferred in the Polico Court to-day against Albert Stanley . Parsons, a bootmaker, aged 32, who had Lreen sentenced to seven days' imprisonment for assaulting his wifo. Justices wero on tho Bench.
Sergeant Cahvcll asked that Parsons, who fiurrondored to tho polico at Hamilton on Sunday, bo remandod to appear before tho magistrate on July 18. The remand was granted.
