STRUCK BY MOTOR-CARS.

ONE IN SERIOUS CONDITION.

Severe concussion of the brain was sus« tained by Frank Grove,, aged three years, as a result of being struck by a motor-car in Broadway, Newmarket, yesterday afternoon. The child, whose parents reside in Panmure Road, Otahuhu, was removed to the Auckland Hospital, and last evening his condition was serious. A fracture of the right leg was sustained by Doughs Child, aged 10 years, as a result, of being struck by a motor-car on the railway bridge in Mount Eden Road yesterday afternoon. The boy, whose parents reside at 4, Abbot's Road, Mount Eden, was admitted to the hospital.
