CLUBS' ANNUAL MEETINGS. EDEN AND EPSOM PLAYERS. There was a good attendance of members at tho annual general meeting of the Eden and Epsom Lawn Tennis Club. The annual report stated that the club had enjoyed a. successful season, due in a great ineasuro to the good condition of tho courts, for which thanks were due to the ground superintendent. In the inter-club competitions the A grade team was successful, winning the competition with close victories over University and Rc-muera. The report also referred to successes gained by members in the various tournaments held last season, particular mention being made of Mr. M. M. Morrison, who won tho New Zealand Plate, and Miss Pat Miller and Mr. A. C. Johns, who won the Auckland championship combined doubles. In this event three out of the four pairs in tho semi-final 3 wero club members. The membership was stated to be a little below strength, but was considered stable, and it is expected that the coming season will see it brought up to its full strength. The club competitions resulted as follows:—Championships: Men's singles, H. C. Rowlands; men's doubles, A. M. Nicholson and V. N. Hubble; ladies' singles, Mies J. E. Ramsay; ladies' doubles. Misses E. E. and M O. Miller: combined doubles. Miss J. E. Ramsay and M. M. Morrison. Handicaps: Men's singles, H. 0. Rowlands; men's doubles, A. K. and E. H. K. lurner: ladies' singles. Miss 1. B. Mueller: ladies doubles. Misses J. B. Mueller and J. r>. Ramsay: combined doubles. Miss M. O. Miller and A. C. Johns. The election of officers resulted as follows:—President, Mr. N. A. Campbell: vicepresidents, Messrs, A. S. O. Brown. J. H. Reyburn, R. O. Gardner, T. Clark and Dr. K. A., Bull; hon. secretary, Mr. A. H. McDonald : hon. treasurer, Mr. I.
