DISCOVERY IN GARDEN.
CHARGE AGAINST YOUNG MAN

Tho body of a femalo child has been found buried in a private garden at Waimate.
At the Timn.ru Magistrate's Court today a young man, Lomond Kennedy, who was arrested on Saturday, was charged that, on or about February 4, 1927, at Waimate, ho did dispose of the body of a dead female child with intent to conceal its birth. On the application of Senior-Sergoant Gibson, accused was remanded to appear at Waimate on Friday, bail being allowed accused in his own bond of £3OO and two sureties of £l5O each.
