MAYOR OF AUCKLAND.
VISIT TO WELLINGTON. URGENT RELIEF PROBLEMS. The Mayor of Auckland,' Mr. G. Baildon, will leave for Wellington this evening to attend a meeting of the central earthquake relief committee to-morrow and to join in the deputation of Mayors of the four centres to tho Prime Minister. Sir Joseph Ward, in connection with unemployed relief. Hie deputation will wait upon Sir Joseph on Thursday. Mr. A. J. Entrican, deputy-mayor, will preside at Thursday's meeting of the City Council in the absence of Mr. Baildon.
