DUNEDIN FLOOD DAMAGE.
ISSUE OF FIRST WRIT. [by telegram:.—tress association.] DUXEDIN, Friday. A writ claiming £7OO on account of damages suffered in (lie March floods has been served on the Otago Harbour Board by M. Stevenson and Company, contractors, who are the board's ten : ants. It was mentioned after the flood that claims amounting to £33,000 were to be mado by residents and property holders in the flooded area, but this is the first writ issued.
