WAGGON LEAVES LINE.
MISHAP NEAR TAIHAPE.
MIXED TRAINS DELAYED. [BY TELEGRAPH. OWN CORRESPONDENT.] TAIHAPE, Friday. One waggon of a mixed goods and passenger train, which arrived in Taihape from Ohaknne at 10 am., to-day, and left for Marton 15 minutes later, was derailed two miles south of Utiku this morning. A gang of surfacemen happened to be working near the scene of the accident, and they placed the derailed truck on the line, and the train proceeded on its journey about one hour behind schedule time.
As a result of the mishap another mixed train, duo at Taihape from Marton at noon, was delayed at Mangaweka,
and arrived at Taihape over an hernlate. Utiku is about six miles south of Taihape.
