TRAIN CONNECTIONS.
Sir, —May I suggest to the Railway Department that tho train from Mercor at 6.37 a.m be speeded up so that passengers can take the north train from Auckland at 8.40. This train can be caught at Newmarket, but everyone doesn't know that, and there is only a difference of eight minutes. Also, would it not be more satisfactory for passengers from or to (he north to make Mount Eden the terminus. J.S.O. ,
