Sir, —May I suggest to the Railway Department that tho train from Mercor at 6.37 a.m be speeded up so that passengers can take the north train from Auckland at 8.40. This train can be caught at Newmarket, but everyone doesn't know that, and there is only a difference of eight minutes.
