THREE WOMEN IMPRISONED. ALL PREVIOUSLY CONVICTED. "These three women have ali been wandering round Hobson Street, consorting with undesirable persons and accosting men," said Sub-Inspector McCarthy in "the Police. "I do not think this is a caso for probation," said the probation oifirer, Mr. W. J. Campbell. "Ho appears to bo a bird of passage." Saying he would treat him as a first offender, the magistrate fined accused 115. in default one month's imprisonment.
