GOLDFISH HOLD UP A TRAIN.
How a mail train from Durban to Johannesburg was held up recently by goldfish is related in a South African paper. Tho train was travelling at a fairly high rate of speed when it slowed down, and finally carne to a stop at a siding. Tho cause proved to bo a bath of goldfish being forwarded to tho Johannesburg war memorial pond. Owing to the swaying of the cars, the fish were being dashed from side to side and over the top. The official in charge of tho train therefore ordered the train to be stopped, and had the diminutive passengers returned to Durban to be reforwarded in a suitable tank.
