RED HAY-CART AS HEARSE.
There was no indication of mourning at the funeral of Mrs. Anno Isabel Jones, of Cardiganshire, a member of the Quorn Hunt, widow of Mr. William Jones, and formerly Miss Fenton, of Lancashire. This was at her request. „ The body was dressed in deceased's riding habit, and lay in a Russian casket of polished oak. The hearse was a haycart, painted red, the estate colours, and covered with moss. Tho cortege included Mrs. Jones' two favourite hunters, Vimy and Black Watch, in charge of tho stud groom dressed in hunting kit. Tho grave is in a wild and isolated spot on a mountain.
