SEQUEL TO COLLISION.
DRIVER FAILS TO STOP. PROSECUTION AT TAIHAPE. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] TAIHAPE, Friday. A farmer, William Grey, was fined £4 to-day by Mr. •?,. M. Watson, S.M., for failing to stop when he collided with another car with five occupants and toppled it over a bank near Taihapo- on May 16. The magistrate said that Grey, who admitted having taken drink, knew quite well there had been an accident. Two occupants of the car were severely injured.
