NGATIRA TENNIS CLUB.
SIXTH ANNUAL DANCE.
Gay with brightly-coloured streamers and light shades the Click Clack Cabaret made an attractive setting last evening for the sixth annual ball of the Ngatira Tennis Club. The chief feature of the evening's proceedings was the presentation by Mr. Norman Till, the president, of cups won during the year in various tournaments and championships, the prizewinners being Miss Young, Miss Croft-, Mr. R. Gilmour, Mr. C. Williams, Mr. C. Jackson and Mr. C. Collins.
Among those who were present were Mrs. Norman Till, who wore a frock of black georgette and lace with a red flower afc the waist; Miss M. Cot'des, silver brocaded lame; Miss Young, gold lame with a skirt of gpld net; Miss Kathleen Peek, apricot taffeta; Miss Holland, ciel bluo satin with a pink and silver flower at the waist; Miss Ruth Murray, apple green crepe de chine; Miss Hitchens, apricot taffeta and cream lace; Miss M. Croft, powder blue taffeta appliqued with pink flowers; Miss M. Cox, black taffeta; Miss J. Croft, lemon crepe de chine; Miss C. Hulme, apricot lace over satin; Miss Millicent Brookes, ivory crepo de chine corsage with a. skirt of spotted tulle; Miss Irene Jenkin, japonica pink panne velvet; Miss Casey, flame georgette trimmed with green ribbon; Miss I. Andrew, flame taffeta with a front panel of frilled georgette.
Mrs. Lobley wore silver lame corsage with skirt of ivory friLlecl tulle; Miss M. Meek, lacquer red georgette embroidered with red beads; Miss G. Bond, sand-dust panne velvet with a georgette sk'irt; Miss T. May, powder blue crepe de chine and gold lace; Miss Inwood, shell pink georgette trimmed with silver ribbon; Miss Myrtle Hughes, ivory taffeta with a red shoulder flower; Miss M. 'Johnston, apple green georgette and tulle; Miss J. Montgomery, cyclamen georgette; Miss Pago, delphinium blue crepe fleuri with a diamante waist-bucklo; Miss A. Warn, orange taffeta banded with powder blue georgette at the hem; Miss T. Truman, black lace; Miss Beryl Cordes, Nile green satin and chiffon; Miss Madge Arns, cameo pink georgette with a tiered skirt; Miss Whiley, larkspur blue taffeta; Miss Bellam, sea green lame ant] crepe do chine; Miss D. Veo, primrose crepe de chine trimmed with silver laco.
