The Union Company's steamer Waipiata, : which left Dunedin on Wednesday evening, - arrived at Timaru yesterday and left again last night for Lyttelton, Wellington, Napier ,'and Auckland. THE ROTORUA SAILED. The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rotoma left Auckland yesterday morning for Tokomaru Bay to continue loading refrigerated cargo for London. The vessel will also load at Gisborne, Lyttelton and Wellington, and will sail finally from Wellington on May 29. THE RAISDALE DISCHARGING. Work of discharging the local consignment cf the cargo of basic slag from Antwerp from the steamer Raisdale at King's Wharf proceeded yesterday in spite of the rain. It is expected the vessel will be despatched for New Plymouth on Tuesday to complete discharge. WAIPAHI LEFT RAROTONGA. The Union Company's special fruit tteamer Waipahi left Rarotonga on Tuesday evening with her first shipment of fruit from the Cook Islands for the present sea- . Eon. The vessel is due here next Wednesday. ULIMAROA SAILS AT 11 A.M. Tho Huddart-Parker steamer Ulimaroa, at present berthed at Central Wharf, will sail at 11 o'clock this morning with passengers, mail and general cargo for Sydney. Tho vessel is duo there next Tuesday. CORINTHIC CLEARED BALBOA. With passengers, mail and general cargo ior New Zealand the Shaw. Saviil and Albion liner Corinthic, which left London oil April 25. cleared Balboa on Wednesday. The vessel is due at Wellington on June 3 and wi.l later discharge cargo at Auckland. PORT CURTIS LEFT MONTEVIDEO. Tho Commonwealth and Dominion Line's et'amer Port. Curtis, which, after loading at Southern poits. left Wellington finally for London on April 20, cleared Montevideo on Wednesday, according to cabled reports. MAIMOA FOR AUCKLAND. The Shaw, Saviil and Albion Line's steamer Maimoa, which left Liverpool for Auckland on April 27, is reported to have failed from Balboa on Wednesday. Tho vessel is due here on June 4 and will also discharge, general merchandise from West Const ports of tile United Kingdom at Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. THE WAIMEA HELD UP. Owing to a heavy sea which made the river unworkable, the Union Company's steamer Waiinea could not berth at Gisborne when she arrived from Auckland at 8.30 yesterday morning. The vessel put to sea again at 10.15 to await an opportunity to enter the river, but she may hnvo to continue her voyage to Napier without first calling at Gisborne. GOLDEN WEST COMING. Tho American steamer Golden West left Vancouver on Wednesday after loading for New Zealand ports. The vessel will complete at Los Angeles and is announced to sail from that port on June 1 Cor Auckland with a cargo of case oil, timber »nd general merchandise. ' The Union Company's steamer Katonga is expected to leave Edithburg to-morrow for Melbourne to complete loading for Wellington and Auckland. Tho vessel will Bail from Melbourne about next Wednesday. KAIWARRA WITH COAL. The Union Company's steamer Kaiwarra arrived at Westport last evening and to-day will commence loading coal for Auckland. The vessel is expected to Bail to-morrow and should arrive early next week. TAHITI FOR WELLINGTON. Tho Royal Mail steamer Tahiti left Sydney yesterday afternoon for Wellington and is due there on Monday morning. The following day the vessel will leave for San Francisco, via Rarotouga and Papeete. KAITANGATA TO SAIL. The Union Company's steamer Kaitangata, which berthed at Prince's Wharf yesterday morning to discharge coal from Westport, will move to Western Wharf this morning and will sail to-morrow for Portland to load for Wellington and Lyttelton. TOFUA SAILS TO-MORROW. Tho Union Company's Island steamer Tofua, at present berthed at Queen's Wharl. will move this morning to tho berth at Central Wharf to be vacated by the Ulimaroa. and at 11 o'clock to-morrow morning will sail for Fiji. Tonga and Samoa. NIAGARA DUE ON MONDAY. The. Royal Mail liner Niagara is expected to arrive at Suva from Vancouver at six o'clock this morning and to sail again at noon for Auckland.
