DESTRUCTION BY FIRE.
KEREONE FARMER'S LOSS. MILKING SHED AND PLANT. [BX TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] MORRINSVILLE, Tuesday. The milking shed and the manure shed owned by Mr. H. A. Munro, of Kereone, caught fire last evening and within an hour were completely gutted. While Mr. Munro was having tea the electric light suddenly failed and shortly afterwards ho heard the crackling of flames. Ho rushed outside to find his shed burning fiercely. The contents of the milking shed, including tho plant and motor, were destroyed and as they were not insured tho loss is a heavy one to Mr. Munro. The milking shed was insured. DWELLING AT FEILDINGL PRACTICALLY NOTHING SAVED. [BY TELEGRAPH.—PRESS ASSOCIATION.] FEILDING. Tuesday. A large dwelling owned and occupied by Mr. George Wells, in Chamberlain Street, was badly damaged by fire last night and practically all the contents were destroyed by fire and water. Iho fire apparently started in the kitchen and had a firm hold when the brigade was summoned.
