THE WHAKATANE DOMAIN.
IMPROVEMENTS DURING YEAR [BY TELEGRAPH. —OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WHAKATANE, Tuesday. Tho annual meeting of tho Whakatano Domain Board was held last evening. Tho annual report showed that considerable improvements had been made in the domain, including fencing and the planting of hedge trees. A camping site for motorists had been set aside in the domain and had proved very popular during the summer months. The balance-sheet for the year ended March 31 showed a credit- of £ll. Mr. G. A. Brabant was elected chairman and Mr. A. F. Moncur honorary secretary.
